Earlier in the year the Technology Strategy Board’s ‘New Designs for a Circular Economy’ funded 40 feasibility studies, undertaken by design and business partnerships, on the product life-cycle system. Building on this momentum, the TSB is investing up to £1.5m to encourage companies to rethink the design of products, components and/or services, with the potential to reduce their environmental impact. Made in Creative UK is a new campaign to increase recognition of the UK’s creative talent. It was devised by a video-game company boss who wants to reiterate to consumers all over the world that the product they have is British and highlight that the UK are experts at that kind of thing. Read more
