We are pleased to announce that Paul Elliot Smith has now joined the board of Somerset Innovation + Design (SID) and we are continuously growing our team of volunteers and design advocates and welcome Paul’s fresh approach to design and the promotion of Somerset as a place of design excellence.
Paul Elliot Smith who has a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design is the Creative Director of Word Gets Around, an ideas led, marketing driven design company based in Taunton. His background is in design for print, with a particular passion for branding identities and associated marketing. His motivation is rooted in ‘creating a buzz’ and helping others to promote businesses. In 2011 he co set up Word Gets Around Networking, an affordable, convenient and informal business networking group.
Paul’s role as a committee member means that he volunteers his time to attend board meetings and to represent SID at design and creative industry meetings and with a focus on networking Paul brings much talent and input into the goals SID aims for.
